Directions and Map

• Take Rt. 28 (Westfield Ave), which becomes North Ave in Cranford and then Midway in Scotch Plains

• Make a left onto Terrill Rd

• Make a right onto East Seventh Street (4 Traffic lights) go through traffic light at Watchung Avenue.

• Make first right onto Cleveland Avenue one block in is the YMCA parking lot on the right.

From the West (via Route 22)

From South: Garden State Parkway

From the East via Route 22

• Route 22 West to Plainfield

• Take jug handle for Terrill Rd (Sears)

• Make right onto East Front Street

• Make a left onto Watchung Avenue

• Go through approximately 3 lights

• A next corner YMCA on the right, meter parking in front.  

• For free parking

  • proceed to next traffic light 
  • make right onto East 7th Street.
  • make a right at next corner (Cleveland Avenue)
  • Next corner will be YMCA parking lot on right (fenced).

via Route 78

• Take Exit 40, follow the Hospital Signs. 
• Go over Route 22. 
• Keep heading south on Somerset Street. 
• Make left onto East Fifth Street
• One block will be Cleveland Avenue
• Make a right
• YMCA Parking lot on left (fenced).

• Route 22 East, make right at Somerset Street exit
• Somerset Street turns into Park Avenue
• Take Park Avenue to East Fifth Street
• Make left onto East Fifth Street
• One block will be Cleveland Avenue
• YMCA Parking lot on left (fenced).

From South: Garden State Parkway (GSP)

• GSP North to exit 127 (Interstate 287 North)
• Take 287 North to exit 5, bare right on ramp onto Stelton Road
• Make right at 2^nd light onto New Brunswick Ave.
• Follow around sharp bend to end, approximately 2.5 miles
• Make right onto 7th Street
• Follow 7th Street to Downtown Plainfield
• Cross over Park Ave, make left onto Cleveland
• YMCA fenced in parking lot on corner of Cleveland & 6th,
  also metered parking on 6^th Street and Watchung Ave.

• GSP South to exit 140A
• Merge onto Route 22 West
• Go approximately 9 miles and take jug handle for Terrill Rd.
• Make right onto East Front Street
• Follow above directions

From South: Turnpike

• Turnpike North to exit 10
• Take Route 287 North
• Follow directions from above
